Every year, people across the United States come together on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a day of national service and dialogue to honor the memory of Dr. King. Join the United Way as they service across Spartanburg, Cherokee and Union counties and engage in activities to reflect on Dr. King’s legacy.

Make your MLK Day a day on, rather than a day off by signing up to volunteer. Volunteer opportunities happen from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m.

Before or after your shift, join fellow volunteers for a lunchtime rally from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm (lunch served, RSVP here)

Later in the evening, head to the City of Spartanburg’s Unity Celebration at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium at 6:30 pm.
