1. Dance the night away at College Fest
Free Food? Check. Dance Party in Morgan Square? Check. Bring all your college friends for a free night out in September.
2. Tour SpARTanburg's galleries during ArtWalk
ArtWalk is the third Thursday of each month. It's free, and many galleries offer wine and cheese. Find out where to start at SpartanburgArtWalk.org.
3. Shop Local at Hub City Farmers Market
Head to Harvest Park to buy fresh produce and local goods. The market is open 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday, April through December. HubCityFM.org
4. Go on a ride at the Piedmont Interstate Fair
Fair rides, fried food, musical entertainment and animals galore. The fair is held every October. piedmontinterstatefair.com
5. Attend a Festival at Barnet Park
Explore other cultures at International Festival in October, or fly a kite with the pros at Spartanburg Soaring in April.
6. Bite into a famous Spartan-Burger
Dig in at Ike’s, Sugar & Spice, The Beacon, or the Nu-Way. Bonus point if you order 'a plenty!
7. Play Sparkle City Mini Putt
Pick up your clubs from Hub City Scoops, grab an ice cream, and hit the links. It's free to play. 118 E. Broad St.
8. Explore Butterfly Creek by VCOM
The Northside's Butterfly Creek is Spartanburg's newest park. Take a stroll across the bridge or ride a B-Cycle along Butterfly Branch Greenway.
9. Show your Spartan pride

10. Form a team and take on Trivia Night

11. Rent a B-Cycle and ride the Rail Trail
On foot or on wheels, the 2-mile Mary Black Rail Trail is a great way to grab some fresh air. Start at 295 E. Henry St. for easy parking and B-Cycle rental.
12. Go Skating on the Square
Test your ice skating skills on the rink at Morgan Square during the winter months. Warm up afterward with a cup of hot chocolate from Spill The Beans.
13. Let Wofford Entertain You!
Watch a theatre production in the Rosalind Sallenger Richardson Center for the Arts or attend a sporting event at Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium.
14. Ditch the dining hall and dine Downtown

15. Cheer on the SMC Pioneers Baseball Team

16. Take a trip to Strawberry Hill USA
Choose the ripest strawberries, juiciest peaches and hand-picked pumpkins fresh from the fields. Be sure to get a scoop of homemade ice cream from the Parlor.
17. Pose with the Love Where You Live Mural
If you haven't taken a picture with this iconic downtown mural, have you really lived in Spartanburg?
18. Venture out to Glendale Shoals
Take a picnic or plan a photo shoot on the picturesque bridge in this historic mill town.
19. See a show at Chapman Cultural Center
Spartanburg Little Theatre, Ballet Spartanburg and Spartanburg Philharmonic all perform on Chapman’s stage. Check the calendar at chapmanculturalcenter.org.
20. Listen to live music in Morgan Square
Discover local and regional acts at Music on Main, Thursdays from April to July. Swing by on Fridays in April, May, September & October for Jazz on the Square. After the show, head to FR8yard to continue the open-air fun.
21. Take a stroll along the Cottonwood Trail
Minutes from downtown, this urban preserve is a hidden treasure. Keep your eyes open for wildflowers and wildlife as you walk the boardwalk.
22. Learn how to use Chopsticks
Spartanburg can show you how. Test your skills while dining at Monsoon, Miyako's, LimeLeaf, Pokenori or The Lemongrass Kitchen.
23. Take a selfie with a spine in the Sherman College Health Center

25. Volunteer on MLK Day

26. Visit the Plant Zoo at the SCC Arboretum
SCC's central campus is one of five recognized arboretums in our county. Learn about the specialty gardens and unique plants at sccsc.edu/arboretum/.
27. Find all nine Electric Art boxes
There are nine mini murals on electrical boxes throughout Downtown Spartanburg. Snap a picture with the box that represents your college.
28. Hit the books at Spartanburg County Library
It's the perfect place to study when then campus library is overflowing.
29. Eat late-night at Papa's Breakfast Nook
Who needs to order a pizza when you can get breakfast at 2 AM? Bring your bills - this joint is cash only.
30. Jam out at Converse's spring festival
Head to Converse’s Quad to see an up-and-coming artist. The festival is held in April. Student tickets are $5.
